PORTFOLIO

The Automotive Industry
I have experience with a variety of marketing clients but I primarily work in the automotive trade which is often a very high-end and professional industry that requires a lot of high-quality and precise content. I work for over eleven brands which I create a wide range of content for. Each brand requires regular social media posts, website updates and maintenance and other forms of campaigns like email marketing and printed campaigns.

I particularly enjoy setting up and creating new webpages for our websites as well as editing HTML code for our monthly email campaigns.

Creative Decisions
There are certain tasks that not only help to create engaging content for our website, but also helps to improve our search engine rankings online. One way I have worked to improve our ranking online is by creating relevant and useful blogs.

These often cover topics about general maintenance information, how-to tutorials and information that is frequently asked by our customers.

Brand Compliancy
One of the main important aspects when making content and building websites for external companies, is to ensure that their strict brand guidelines and standards are precisely followed. I have worked for a variety of different brands which has allowed me to adapt my style and develop my branding knowledge in order to create accurately targeted and professional content. This applies throughout every campaign that is made, whether it's a social
media post or a new page on the website, everything has to follow the correct
regulations to achieve the recognisable traits of each brand. Some important
elements include brand colours, fonts, tone of voice and imagery. Despite
working with multiple automotive companies, there are certain things
that rarely change but there are other aspects which frequently
vary and add a unique/signature flare that the
brand is known for.

Email Campaigns

I have gained a variety of experience through the monthly email campaigns that I have created. There are two formats that I generally use to complete these including editing custom HTML code to directly edit and insert content, and then I also have experience with Campaign Monitor's drag and drop template designs. Both of these have their pros and cons and I particularly find it enjoyable to create different aesthetics according to each brief as well as compiling professional and informative content for our audience.

I have had the responsibility of gathering the data for these emails and then sending out each campaign to a total of around 300,000 subscribers. This is a big responsibility and requires strict GDPR rules and requires the campaigns to be 100% accurate and appropriate for exporting.

Once these have been sent out, I track them and analyse their successes which I use to inform my future
campaigns.

SEO
Search engine optimisation is an essential part of my role. Every page and product on every website
I have worked on needs to have up-to-date
and accurate SEO. Without this, our sites
are practically invisible and I enjoy
finding new ways to improve the
SEO for each brand.

Responsive Designs

Some of the website builders I have used before include WordPress, Wix and Squarespace. I have spent most of my professional career using WordPress and learning how to navigate the platform and use different plug-ins. I have made many banners in the past to feature in the
header of each site's homepage. Due to people
viewing the content on multiple types of devices,
I have had to create content to adapt to each
device size and then I have integrated this
into the backend of the website to program
the site on how I want the page to be
displayed depending on the
resolution of the device
someone is using.

'Choose Model Page'
This is an example of a before and after of one of the website pages/menus I created for a Toyota parts site.

Before

The navigation menu changed from a boxed/icon style, to a drop-down list of all the vehicle models. All of the vehicle colours are red consistently throughout this section and has been condensed into a menu button rather than a whole page of mismatched boxes.

Merchandise Brochure
I worked with our Lexus branch to create a brochure for their available merchandise for display in their showroom. This is the digital version of our printed booklet.
